Habitat Restoration Projects at Schools

Students can do a lot to help restore native habitat on and near school grounds. Consider cleaning up and replanting a habitat area near your school, or perhaps even returning some field or parking lot to native habitat. Even digging up two extra parking spots with a jack hammer and replanting native plants will create a little bit more habitat for birds and the other critters who share your neighborhood. And the more native habitat, the better for greenhouse gases.
